Steg för Steg   (Step by Step)

Steg för Steg is a  Swedish-speaking association for people with intellectual disabilities in Finland.
Our members have an intellectual disability.
We also have supporting members, who wish to support our work.

• Steg för Steg was founded in October 1996.
• Steg för Steg works for a better quality of  life.
• Steg för Steg is a member of  FDUV.

Some examples of what we do:

• Steg för Steg informs people what it`s like to have a disability
• Steg för Steg arranges meetings and conferences for people with intellectual disabilities
• Steg för Steg educates tutors and support persons for the self-advocacy work
• Steg för Steg participates in national, Nordic and European activities.
